1. Drink more water

By fighting the necessity to urinate, you risk having kidney stones or even failure, due to the pressure you put on them. Make sure you satisfy your necessity as soon as you feel it is coming.

3. Eat less salt

The excessive amount of salt in your meals can be harmful to your kidneys and your blood pressure as well. Don’t consume more than 5 gr. of salt each day as it is the amount your body needs to stay in normal boundaries.

4. Eat less sugar

Sugary foods and drinks give your urine proteins which can further lead to kidney damage. People who drink 2 or more sodas a day are very likely to cause kidney damage in near future. The disease of having protein in your urine is treatable but the treatment itself can be an exhausting process.

5. Sleep more

Did you know that kidney tissue renews every night? Make sure you get proper sleep and let your kidneys rest and do their job.

6. Eat less animal protein

By consuming too much meat you increase your chances of kidney damage due to the huge amount of proteins contained in it. So reduce the protein intake to normal levels and you will prevent dysfunction of your kidneys from ever happening.

7. Don’t drink alcohol

As you know alcohol is dangerous for your liver and kidneys. It represents a toxin and when taken in large amounts is extremely lethal. A glass or two from time to time is acceptable, but make sure you don’t develop a habit as it will damage your organs severely.

8. Consume more minerals and vitamins
