The Diet That Was Declares The Best And Even Surprised Doctors
|American magazine “U.S. News and World Report’s” published the list of the best diets for 2013, and a part of the list for the third year in a row is the diet “DASH”, which with its nutritional balance once again won the jury and justifiably won the title for the best diet in the world for 2013.
The combination of protein, fruits, vegetables and grains, which is recommended within the diet “DASH” or “Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension” amazed the jury of 22 doctors and psychologists. In order to achieve the desired goal, a flat stomach, lower blood pressure and acceleration of the metabolism, it is necessary that people strictly adhere to the two-week meal plan and then proceed with the second phase.
What is especially important is that during the first 14 days, people have to refrain for the intake of carbohydrates, so during the first two weeks, fruit and grains with whole seeds aren’t allowed, while proteins like lean meat and fish, vegetables that don’t contain starch, cheese with less fat and nuts are allowed. The second phase begins with the introduction of whole grain cereals, fruits and vegetables containing starch, into the diet. People tend to lose more than two kilograms during two weeks, basically between 4.5 and 15 kilograms in two months. The diet, as cited by the author herself, primarily removes fats around the stomach, which result from the intake of excessive amounts of carbohydrates.
