Are men burning calories faster then women? When it comes to weight loss, most of us have heard that men have an advantage when it comes to weight loss and calories burned through exercises.
Men have more testosterone and less estrogen than women. And women have up to 11% more body fat than men to help them during pregnancy. These are factors that really influence the calories burned and the weight loss process in men vs in women.
Men tend to lose weight around their belly, so it’s often more immediately noticeable when overweight men start losing weight than when women do. So women tend to lose weight at a slower pace than men because their fat stores are typically more spread out in areas like butt and legs.
At the end of the day, calories burned by men and women is the result of a hard work for both genders. So it doesn’t matter what your gender is, you just have to be persistent and patient to succeed in weight loss.
