4 Simple Exercises That Will Give You a Better Butt Than Squats

Most of us are not born with a firm butt and strong glutes. Our genetics has a lot to add up in this process. However, working out on a daily basis can change all this.

Practicing the right exercises can make you achieve your dream body in a very short period of time. In this process, consistency is the key. It won’t happen for one or two days, but believe or not it doesn’t take long for you to start seeing results if you’re really dedicated.

Exercises That’ll Give You a Better Butt Than the Squat

Start by laying on the floor, with the knees bent, and the feet planted firmly on the floor. Position your feet in a parallel position to the knees, a bit more than a hip’s width. Place a light dumbbell or plate on your hips and lift them off the floor by tightening your glutes, thighs, and abs. Don’t use any heavyweight if you’re new to this exercise. Slowly, lower down to the initial position, while the hips are still a bit above the floor. Perform 3 sets each 15 times

Back Extension

Yes, this has the word ‘back’ in it – but performed properly, the back extension is primarily a glute (and posterior chain) recruiter. Doing some variation of back extensions (I recommend a horizontal back extension) is an absolutely critical piece of the glute puzzle and you should absolutely include one in each and every butt workout. You can use your bodyweight for high reps, banded or weighted extensions for medium/low reps.

In an all fours position, the athlete raises one leg behind them, keeping the knee bent and moving the sole of the foot towards the ceiling.

Squat/Deadlift

Squats/Deadlift are undoubtedly one of the best exercises that can deliver amazing results in a very short time. They are the best exercises to shape and tone the buttocks. You’ll feel the burn in your buttocks and legs, and even in your abs and back muscles.
