Car: Don’t leave the house without food. If you aren’t prepared when you start a long trip you will have to stop along the way to buy unhealthy snacks and fast food. Pack enough fresh fruit, unsalted nuts and dried fruit as well as water.
Airplane: Don’t use the opportunity for unlimited consumption of coffee and alcohol in the plane. It can cause headaches and dehydration. Drink a lot of water – sip by sip!
Boat: Don’t avoid eating before the trip. Low blood sugar levels enhance the feeling of nausea. Snack on biscuits with ginger or crackers.
