They concluded that moderate use of alcohol reduces the risk of the flu by 60%, while white wine reduces the risk of the flu by 88%. On the other hand, when you get the flu, symptoms in people who enjoy white wine are tenfold smaller – say scientists.
Wine lowers the risk of gastric cancer
A survey done on 30,000 subjects found that those people who enjoy wine more have a 24% less chance of developing stomach cancer. No, were are advising you to be alcoholics, but you need to realize that a glass of wine a day certainly reduces the risk of gastric cancer as opposed to people who don’t consume wine at all.
