It might sound surprising that olive oil, coconut oil or butter is much more healthier than vegetable oil, but not only that, recent study shows that this type of oil can be dangerous and harmful.

Scientist find out some dangerous chemicals linked to cancer and other diseases in the structure of the vegetable oil.

There were a lot of skeptics for the results of this study so scientists wanted to dig deeper into the results.
The supstance that the scientists are concerned is called ofaldehydes, vegetable oil has a high concentration of ofaldehydes and these chemicals are linked to several life-threatening diseases like cancer, heart diseases and dementia.

Martin Grootveld is the leader of the group that are involve in the experiment, and he is explaining that a meal of fish and chips in a vegetable oil contains tremendously large number of toxic, moreover, 200 times more toxic aldehydes than the safe daily limit.

On the other hand, cooking with olive oil, butter or even lard, produces lower levels of aldehydes.

From all of these, coconut oil gives the best results as it produces the lowest levels of dangerous chemicals.

Professor Stein is Oxford’s emeritus professor of neuroscience made a claim that the human brain is changing because of consuming sunflower oils and corn.

NHS recommended the vegetable oils over butter or lard for cooking, these claims has lasted for many years. Professor Grootveld from De Montfort University in Leicester doesn’’t agree with that.

He said that authorities have been warning us how bad these oils are. The recent experiments suggest that butter is a better option when it comes to frying.

If we dig deeper in their experiment, the fact is that vegetable oils undergo a very complex procedures of chemical reactions resulting with accumulation of huge amounts of dangerous compounds.

That’s why we often hear nutritionists how they are warning people about fried food.

The best way for your protection is to stop eating processed foods. Most of the packaged fried foods are made of vegetable oils. They claim it has been used vegetable oils, but even that is not guaranteed.

You can always buy fresh food, and the best way to prepare it is boil it or bake. It is never too late to start giving your body what it really needs and now we know vegetable oil is not one of those products.
