Scientist Discovers a Cure for Cancer Over 60 Years Ago (They’ve Been Keeping It Secret All This Time!)
Reversing cancer by using Johanna Budwig Diets core protocol has been criticized by many in the natural health field, claiming that is unreal and unsuited.
There are other dietary requirements that are part of her protocol, like: exposure to the sunshine and stress management are very significant in this procedure.
Dr. Andrew Weil, who is an American physician, author, spokesperson, and broadly described “guru” for holistic health and integrative medicine, also criticized the Budwig diet, who stated that curing cancer with cottage cheese is wishful thinking.
However, in a period of 5 decades, Johanna Budwig diet has a success rate of 90% cancer cases in Germany in 4500 patients afflicted with all types of cancers.
Some of the patients were considered terminal and the at the end they were cured.
That core protocol is based on flaxseed oil and cottage cheese. Originally it was flaxseed oil and quark, a crumbly textured white cheese resembling ricotta, common among German speaking nations, Scandinavian countries, and much of the Eastern European region.
The main reason why it was substituted is because this kind of cheese is not available in America.
But the whole treatment as we mentioned is a lot more then consuming the right food, but stress management and lots of sunshine are of equal importance.
Johanna Budwig as a biochemist and physicist in the early 1950`s, She worked as an senior scientist at the German Federal Health Office, something similar as the FDA but a lot less bureaucratically corrupted. Her task was to determine the right cancer medication and treatment from German pharmaceutical companies.
One pharmaceutical company forwarded applications to her for a sulfhydryl group, which are proteins (amino acids) that contain sulfur, applying it as a successful cancer medication.
This gave her an overview of the problem involved with oxygenating cancer cells through dietary means, as cancer cells cannot thrive in oxygen.
Otto Warburg won a Nobel Prize in 1931 who discovered that cancer cells thrive in an anaerobic environment, but could not survive in an oxygen rich environment. This study helped all of the scientist who later were in search for the cure of cancer. Otto was hoping to locate a respiratory enzyme that would help oxygenate cancer cells. He knew that fats had something to do with inhibiting or enhancing cellular oxygen absorption, but during his time fats were not classified with their biochemical structures and functions.
In 1951 Johanna Budwig, discovered most of the properties of fatty acids and she can be named a pioneer of Essential Fatty Acid (EFA) research.
As a result of her discovery, she was funded to continue her research determining the different properties of fatty acids. She examined the molecular properties of many fats, and divided them into saturated or unsaturated, isolating linoleic acid or lauric acid, and determined whether they inhibited or enhanced cellular oxygen absorption.
In 1952 se gave an report, explaining the results from her research, stating:
Without these fatty acids, the respiratory enzymes cannot function and the person suffocates, even when he is given oxygen-rich air. A deficiency in these highly unsaturated fatty-acids impairs many vital functions. First of all, it decreases the persons supply of available oxygen.
We cannot survive without air and food, nor can we survive without these fatty acids.
Dr. Budwig had concluded that the most effective fat to combine with an easy to eat protein-sulfur of quark/cottage cheese for the elusive respiratory enzyme that could penetrate cancer cells is organic cold pressed flaxseed oil. These two disparate food items could mix and create the oxygen within cancer cells for restoring normalcy.
Budwig Diet is a result from a lot of hard work and extensive research that Dr. Budwig provided which was not even possible until her discoveries of how to determine the properties of fatty acids. Cottage cheese/quark with pure cold pressed flax oil for curing cancer is not merely a culinary quirk.
