Parsley for Kidney Infection

Parsley is a proven diuretic used by medical herbalists to treat kidney and bladder issues. The parsley possess a diuretic effects which directly assist in flushing toxins out of your system. It is also anti-viral which helps cure infection too.

Method 1: First chop the parsley finely. Add one tablespoon of the crushed parsley in a boiling water. It can be dried or fresh, Steep for 5 minutes and let it cool down. Finally strain the remedy and consume it twice a day for a couple of weeks to combat a kidney infection.

Method 2: You can combine ¼ cup of parsley juice with ½ cup of water and a little honey and some fresh lemon juice. You need to twice a day for two weeks.

Uva Ursi

Uva Ursi can be of great help in cases of E. coli, a bacterium found in the intestines causing bladder and kidney infections.


Add 1 tbsp. of uva ursi leaves in two cups of water and simmer the mixture for around 30-40 minutes ( until the mixture is reduced to one cup ).Drink half cup of this tea twice a day.

Sage and Peppermint Tea

Sage contains therapeutic properties, like anti-septic and astringent which help in the process of detoxification and removing impurities from the kidney.

Pour 2 cups hot water over 1 tablespoon of sage and 1 tablespoon of peppermint leaves. Let it cool down. Strain it and drink 2-3 cups of sage-peppermint tea daily for at least 3 months to treat your kidney infection even if the pain subsides in the first few days.
