10 Foods Made In China That Are Filled With Plastic, Pesticides And Cancer Causing Chemicals


As we all know many products that are sold world wide come from China. This country has been criticized regularly about the quality of the products that are exported from there.

It seems that when is money on the line the key players for making the market decisions don’t care about the consequences, even if it means that some products are just deadly.

In recent years people are starting to be more aware and avoid this kind of insecure products. Namely, there have been some outrageously cheap Chinese products on the market, full of toxic ingredients, that had been sold in the U.S. and also all over the world.

Here’s a list of 10 Chinese foods that you should avoid them because they are full with toxins and are shipped from the other side of the world:

Fake Ginseng

This popular medicinal plant it’s been for a very long time in Chinese tradition. The price for this plant is expensive so what people are doing nowadays, they started boiling it in sugar, in order to make the root heavier.

Wei Feng is a medicine expert from China that works in the National Institute for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC), he explains that is a major issue, not only the retailers are ripping off the customers, but also this process removes all the nutritional values.

He also added that the natural ginseng contain about 20% of sugar and the fake one have 70%, also the fake ones can disturb your health.

Fake green peas

There are numerous reports that Fake green peas are widely produced in the Hunan province . In 2005 a local newspaper published an article about this specific problem that large amount of these peas ware found there. They were hard even after boiling, and they turn the color of the water green.

Somebody profited big money because, even though the news had published this information it took 3 years for these illegal workshops to stop and then shut down.

Fake peas were made of snow peas and soybeans, with the addition of green dye and sodium metabisulfite, which served as a preservative and bleach. The same dye is banned due to the cancer causing properties and also the body has difficulties to absorb the calcium as normal.

Sang Liwei, a Beijing-based food safety expert, claims that this product was also used in Hunan and Guangdong before.

Imitation Eggs

For this case there are even some instructional videos on Chinese websites which you can learn how to produce and sell fake eggs. These eggs are very dangerous they contain:Gelatin, Alginic Acid, Calcium Chloride, water, Potassium Alum, and artificial color. These eggs can cause memory loss and dementia.

Fake Sweet Potato Noodles

After many people had been complaining about the strange taste of the sweet potato noodles, the authorities in Zhongshan city, China found out that in a massive facility there was a production of over 5.5 tons of fake noodles.

These noodles were made from corn with an industrial ink, which provided a purple color, and paraffin wax.

Plastic Rice

These kind of food had been occurring very often. We are talking about fake rice which was consisted of potatoes and a synthetic resin!

It has the same adverse effects as fake peas and the long time consumption can cause cancer.

Industrial salt sold as table salt

As we all know that the industrial salt can’t be consumed by human beings and it is labeled “unfit for human consumption.” The industrial salt is much cheaper. This is why 788 tons of it was sold by at least 12 people over the course of 13 years as table salt. This unhealthy and dangerous industrial salt can cause mental and physical issues, such as hypothyroid problems and reproductive system disorders.

Making beef out of pork

Pork is much cheaper than beef, so the pork is chemically processed, a beef extract is added and also a glazing agent to “marinate” it in 90 minutes. This types of meet are being sold in Chinese restaurants.

Baby formula

The CBS News reported that almost 50 people were accused of manufacturing fake instant baby formula, which caused numerous deaths in children in the Fuyang province, China in 2004. Walnuts stuffed with cement

In 2012 in Zhengzhou city, China, in a shelled walnuts concrete pieces were found inside. The walnut-cements “manufacturers” wrapped the concrete in paper to prevent it from making a suspicious noise when the nut was shaken.
